The Long Road Ahead

"Lobo doesn't really know what the flute is. He did let me examine it for a moment, and I believe it is made from some sort of lyrium and silver combination," Kraven said.

"I am not quite sure of its powers, but it does give a good light show when he plays it. The music type seems to tell a different story, I have never seen any given display more than once."

Kraven slid from his rock, and propped himself up against it, all the while staring into the dancing flames of the fire, listening to the music, sadness on his face.

Guremi continued to pet the red wolf and listened to the other two as she had nothing at this moment to add. Abraxas was a sweet beast to be sure and she was curious about the animal as it tended to not act fearsome like any dragon she had ever met. This one liked to play and wanted attention immediately from others whereas dragonlings she had met with wanted your meat only.

Suddenly there was a flash and a small being bounced out of the fire and she watched in startled amazement as it put itself out then disrobed and clothed himself right in front of them. What in the world was this being? She was ready to attack but no one else really reacted to him.

"That is very pretty, Lobo but who are you?" She asked calmly, waiting to see what answer would be given as she had not heard them talking about Kraven sending the little man out to get Nygozy.

"That is very pretty, Lobo but who are you?"

Lobo stops playing his flute, and the music slowly faded away. He looked up at Guremi, "Lobo, is..well...Lobo." he replied shrugging his shoulders, and went back to playing his flute. This time, a more sweet and calming melody filled the air. The sound of a harp joined in with the sounds of the flute, and glitter sparkled and danced through the air in time to the music.

It had taken very little time for Drake to get back to the others in the clearing after he made sure to fly about and shriek well enough so that Nygozy could follow, waited until she was coming in the correct direction then flew into some bushes not far from the others.

When he got into the ring of others he took Calliara's hand, pulled her up and kissed her lovingly. He held her by the waist as he rubbed noses with her, "Miss me?" He asked.

The shape changer was feeling aggressive from Kaine stating his displeasure of his relationship with the snow haired beauty and he was in the mood to flaunt those ties. Plus, he felt bad that he had not been able to see her the night before and wanted to make it up to her, "Once Nygozy is here we should be able to go back to our room, or wherever you wish to go."

His eyes moved to look at the woods and he sniffed the air as he turned, instinctively protecting Calliara with his own body between them and the bushes but as his hand touched the pommel of Arcarla he relaxed as he knew those scents.

Kraven shook his head as Drake blatantly flaunted his relationship with one of his kind.

As Drake went for his sword, Kraven jumped to his feet, and drew his blade, ready for anything the human sensed.

He relaxed as he first felt Kassina, then saw her magical essence enter the clearing.

"There are spiders in the woods, huge spiders and they ambushed us. Kassina's pack helped but she got hurt pretty bad. I didn't want to leave her with the wolves to come get anyone because the spiders have been attacking a lot the last couple of days. They're worried and need help."

Kraven slammed the blade into the ground, and like a a misty shadowy blur he was kneeling beside her. He nodded to Dartmoor, and took Kassina in his arms. He laid her down near the fire, held his hands over her body, and began murmuring a spell.

"EGO voco vox of terra quod unda , audite meus cries. Vigoratus is parvulus of vestri , quod addo suus tergum ex obscurum. Resarcio suus vulnus , quod take absentis suus poena."

With those words, Kravens head flew back, and he screamed as if in agony. Blue cracks of energy cascaded all over his body. A blue misty like energy began pouring out of him, enveloping Kassina, lifting her off the ground. The energy swirled around her, and then entered her body through all of her wounds.

Kraven collapsed from exhaustion as the spell ended. Kassina awoke with a gasp, just as Kraven hit the ground, all her wounds healed, and her pain taken away.

Kassina awoke with a gasp and sat bolt upright. She was temporarily confused as to where she was and what was going on. She was surrounded by strange smells and sounds and scrambled to her feet and into a fighting stance, grabbing her weapons as she went.

Then slowly the events of the day filtered back into her mind and she began to relax and she put her weapons away. A quick inspection revealed that she was completely healed, as if the hours in the forest had never happened. The strangers must be an even better healer than she guessed. "Thank you." She said quietly to the still form beside her.

She got up slowly and went over to were the two wolf escorts still waited nervously and conversed with them quickly before they ran off back into the forest. That done she went and crouched down infront of Dartmoor. "Wolf brothers like Dartmoor. Say Dartmoor do good. Thank you." She reached out, gave him a quick hug and then took a seat beside him.

"Small alpha come soon?" She asked, looking over to Calliara and Drake. "She need know spiders. Many spiders. Wrong place. Attack no reason. No good."

Palindrome clip clopped along, his feet raising high off the ground as he trotted out in the open, his favorite place to be. The pony was happy to be away from the city and it's noisy atmosphere. The stables were fine but the paddocks were bothersome with being so limited. He wanted to kick up his feet and he did, his long fetlocks waving in the breeze. Then he was reigned in and he slowed to a slight walk as they came upon the sight of Kaine healing Kassina.

Nygozy got off the pony and allowed him to scrounge about the grasses and other foliage as she came closer. The dwarf stopped beside Drake and Calliara as she watched Kassina hug Dartmoor then speak to him in that clipped form of speaking that she used.

Her hazel eyes lifted to Kaine. Having seen him do the healing and feeling the energy around him she knew this one was who she needed to speak to.

"Small alpha is here." She pointed out knowing that she had come along quietly enough that few, if any, would have noticed her arrival. Shadow walking was a favorite ploy of hers and she used it well. It was not a talent she could master like Kai had but she was no slouch at it either. Her feet were planted solidly on the ground as she directed her attention to the man who had just completed the healing, "Thank you for healing Kassina, Kraven Shadow, Darkweaver. My presence has been requested. Why?"

Calliara smiled when Drake appeared again, and let him pull her up for a kiss.

''Miss me?''

''Very much so'' She whispered, even blushing a bit and she cursed herself for that, but she didn't care. The Wolf rubbed her nose with his lovingly, feeling safe and comfy in his arms, and absently noticing Kraven's disliking, but she even cared less for that. He wasn't her Keeper, and even if Marethari herself told her that she did not approve, Calliara won't care about it.

"Once Nygozy is here we should be able to go back to our room, or wherever you wish to go."

''I want to hear what she's going to say and Kraven's reasons, but then, once we're done here and we're all back, I think we should talk, yes'' She said calmly, playing absently with his shirt. ''Also, I want to speak with Lobo again, and know how is it possible to play such wonderful music with just a flute, I wonder if it's something that it's just him, or it's the flute, or both or...''

Realizing that she was starting to go like Jezarine, she laughed and shook her head. ''Alright, I'll shut up. By the way, someone's coming...''

Dartmoor appeared with Kassina and two wolves, and then Nygozy came as well. Calliara kissed Drake's chin softly, because that was all she could reach even tiptoeing, and then listened to what was going to happen.

Kai slid into the shadows and followed the hero out of the city and into the wilderness. He moved silently, invisibly, ever vigilant for threats to the hero. The assassin was not at all comfortable with this summons, but knew better than to try to change Nygozy's mind.

As they neared the clearing Kai went ahead of Nygozy to check for threats. While the healing going on was interesting he refused to let it distract him from his job and continued to scan the clearing. He recognized all those present except the strange figure doing the healing, and a strange lizard like creature. For now he would have to trust the Wolf and Drake's judgement of the stranger as he didn't want to give away his position or presence to the stranger.

He found a deeply shadowed area upwind with a good view of the clearing and settled in to see what would happen.

As soon as Kraven collapsed Lobo rushed to his side, and grabbed one of his arms and began dragging him over to his rock. This looked like an amazing feat, except for the fact that Kraven was helping by crawling.

Kraven turned over and braced himself against the rock he has been resting on since he made camp. He looked drained, and his hands were trembling.

"Master should not use that magic. Make Lobo worried." the small creature stated to Kraven.

All Kraven could do was offer Lobo a weak smile, and pat him on the shoulder in reassurance.

"As long as Kassina is fine, that is all that matters. I will not let an elf die on my watch, if I can help it. She was dieing, even her own healing magic was not enough to keep that from happening. I could see her life force draining. I offered her a small piece of my life force to heal her fully." he whispered, a noticeable strain in his voice.

Lobo just shook his head, and reached into his satchel and retrieved a flask, handing it to Kraven. He took a long swig from it, before handing it back. His hands had stopped shaking, however he still seemed drained of energy.

Kraven propped himself higher against the rock, and looked over at the Warden Commander.

"I would stand and greet you, but it would seem that I am unable to do so at the time, I apologize."

"However, thank you for coming. There is something of great importance that I wish to speak with you about," he started.

Kraven struggled a bit, and with the help of Lobo, he managed to sit upon the rock to be at a more respectable height.

The mighty elf nodded to Lobo in thanks, all Lobo could do was grin, and skip over to stand next to Abraxas and scratch behind its ear.

"Even though the Arch-Demon is gone, another major threat threatens to engulf your precious Fereldan. At the place you call Vigils Keep, there is a tear in the Veil between this world and the fade. And its growing, beings from both sides are trying to widen the tear. If this is happening there are only two reasons. Either they are trying to let something very big in. Or, they are trying to merge the fade and this world together." Kraven took a deep break before continuing.

"Now, there is a misconception that Demons need to possess a human to come to the fade. While this is partially true, if there is a physical way into this realm from theirs then they can come through in full form. This is something you will not want to happen. A demon in its true and unaltered form is a very power foe indeed. Some of the higher demons can even rival the power of the Arch-Demon it self."

"Because of how big I can sense the tear is getting, I believe that whatever is coming through, if that is the case, is something so great in power that it might even be godlike. There are powers in the fade that even the arch demon would dare not go up against. And the only reason something that powerful would come here is so that when it steps through, the veil will be torn so wide, that it will be unrepairable, thus spilling their realm into this one."

"So, that is why I called upon the Hero of Fereldan."

Kassina nearly jumped out of her skin when the small alpha spoke. Her brain must be more addled from her injuries and healing than she had imagined not to have heard or smelled her approached. She let out a growl as she jumped, but luckily managed not to actually jump up and draw weapons this time. Getting herself quickly under control and snuggled up next to Dartmoor while she listened to the others talk. Her injuries may be healed but she was still very tired from the events of the day. She was so tired that she barely even registered the fact that she was in far closer physical contact with Dartmoor than she had been with anyone since she was six.

The stranger was still a giant mystery and his lack of scent still unsettled her, but now she owed him her life and she wasn't going to forget that. She really hoped the small alpha would agree to help the stranger as she ddin't want her loyalty to her new pack to be tested so soon. There was also her wolf pack and the spider problem to consider. So much going on and all she wanted was a decent meal and a really long sleep.

"Big bad demon? Could make spiders act wierd? Whole forest out of... out..." Kassina hesitated and then expressed her concerns about the state of the forest in wolf knowing that both the tattooed wolf and the small alpha would understand her. The spiders weren't the only odditiy in the forest, it was like the whole place was some how out of balance. All the forest creatures were scared and on edge and it was causing many of them to begin to act strangly. It had begun before she'd entered the city a few days ago, but things seemed to have deterierated rapidly since then.

Drake had kissed Calliara on the forehead when she spoke but stayed quiet with everything else, especially since Nygozy had arrived.

Guremi remained silent as well as she felt it was not her place to intrude within something the commander was dealing with. She was a good soldier who knew when to stay still.

Dartmoor hugged Kassina then just sat with her feeling relieved that she would live.

As Kraven spoke, Nygozy moved closer but stayed a couple of feet away. The man was still larger than she sitting on the rock and she wanted to have eye contact. She left nothing to chance as she made note of both Lobo and Abraxas. What the man was saying had an ominous ring to it yet she showed no reaction to the news except for a lifted eyebrow at some statements. This was a bad situation altogether which did require investigation and immediate action.

Kassina's words stirred more concern within the small dwarf and she gave a slight nod to the apostate in response as she spoke in wolf. She made a comment in the same language to thank her for the information then returned her attention to Kaine.

"You have the trust of both of my commanding firsts." She stated calmly, "This is often not an easy accomplishment. What you indicate demands action as soon as possible. I believe Kassina is also correct that the animals are likely reacting to this. They are capable of noticing to natural disasters so it is only reasonable to assume they would react to this as well."

She turned her head to look at Calliara and Drake, "Drake," She commanded, indicating that the man was her other first, "Tell Bann Teagan it is time. You know what else to do regarding the non wardens and Alistair."

Drake gave a bow of the head.

"Calliara. Assemble the wardens and get them ready to move out. Tell them we have a mission but they do not require the details yet. If Lithawen is difficult tell her to either tow the line or go back to Orlesia."

Nygozy looked to Kassina, "Kassina, call your pack. I want them safe with us. Guremi, Dartmoor and Kassina will stay here with myself. We move out in the morning to Vigil's Keep."

She did not mention Kai due to wanting to see if Kraven could sense her body guard and if he couldn't she did not want her lover to be noticed.

Kassina was happy to hear that they would be heading to the keep to help the stranger and that they were sleeping out here tonight. She'd had enough crazyness for one day and was extremely grateful not to have to spend more time in that stone prison the others lived in.

At Nygozy's order Kassina got up, shifted to wolf form and ran off to find her pack brothers. She knew they wouldn't have gone far until they were sure she was ok. She found them in a thicket a few minutes from the camp and quickly conveyed her message to them. They assured her they would deliver it at once and try their best to get the pack to the meeting point up the road.

Message delivered Kassina realized she was starving and got her brothers to help her hunt up some dinner for the camp. She wasn't sure how much these people ate since they did such wierd things with their food so the wolves went after a deer. Despite her exhaustion Kassina was excited to be out in the wilds and on the hunt.

An hour later Kassina and her brothers dragged a deer carcus into camp. It was missing its back legs as the wolves had already claimed those for themselves. Once the deer was delivered her brothers ran off to deliver their message to the alphas.

Kassina shifted to elf form and turned to Lobo as he seemed to be the one who knew how to cook. "Kassina and pack brothers bring meat for burning. You know how burn meat for eating?" Next she turned to Nygozy, but let out a huge yawn before she could say anything. "Told pack. Meet in morning by road if come. Alphas need talk first. Decide."

With another jaw splitting yawn Kassina found a soft looking spot on the edge of the clearing, curled up in a small ball and promptly fell asleep.

"Just remember Warden, you may lead your Wardens, but I do not take orders from anyone." Kaine slowly stood up.

"However, since we work for a common goal, we should be able to work together just fine. One other thing to remember, I will protect your elves with my life. I can not say the same for any humans that you may bring.

"Lobo, prepare to cook a feast, for the young elf-ling is about to deliver us some food to eat."

Kraven then turned back to the warden commander, "Would your elven friend like to join us?" as he nodded in the direction of Kai.

"Elvhenan can not hide from me. I sense them very strongly as they are connected to me in some way shape or form"

"Ooooo...Lobo like to cook." Lobo said excitedly as he jumped up and down clapping his hands. He immediatly went to his pack, and began taking out all his cooking supplies, and out of his satchel, he retrieved a rather large cauldron. It fell over him as it came out of the back.

"Lobo no see!! Lobo no see!!! Oh wait...pot on head...Silly Lobo." his voice echoed from underneath the cauldron. The large iron pot seemed to float up, and you could see Lobo's large feet underneath as he shuffled along, carrying the pot.

He set the pot down, and began rocking it back and forth, until it tipped over on to the fire pit. Lobo popped his head out, a large grin on his face.

"That fun, Lobo want to do again!" Lobo said gleefully. All Kraven could do was raise an eyebrow and glare at the funny little creature.

Lobo looked over at Kraven, "Ok, Ok, Lobo get dinner started. Lobo understand, no time for games." And with a little difficulty he managed to climb over the edge of the pot, and fall over the edge, landing on the ground with a thud.

Lobo began to hum and enchanting tune as he got herbs and spices out of his pack, and a few sacks of vegetables out of his seemingly bottomless satchel. And Lobo went about, humming a song, that seemed frighteningly familiar to the wardens. He chopped carrots, onions, potatoes, turnips, and a variety of other veggies into the pot; which had mysteriously had filled with water. The fire seemed to flare up, heating the water as the soup began to bubble.

A savory aroma filled the air, and seemed to envelope the campsite entirely.

Kassina dragged in the deer, and went to curl up to get some sleep after such a tiring day. As Lobo went to skin, and cut the animal, Kraven took a blanket from Lobos pack, and covered the curled up elf gently, making sure as to not touch her.

He smiled down on her, for a second feeling some happiness. Then he was overcome up sadness as he remembers the family that he had lost, and will never see again.

He sighed heavily, turned his back on the fire, and with his arms crossed, he looked towards the setting sun.

Drake took Calliara's hand and started off with her towards the city. He kept walking quietly until they were well away from the others at which point he sighed.

"I am sorry for what you must have felt with Leliana's flirting and that I had not come to you last night. I was detained by a problem in town that I was asked to handle or I would have been there." He squeezed her hand, "However, I did hear that you and Nygozy did misbehave. It is a wonder you are able to walk now and not be in bed with your head feeling like an explosive block of lead." He teased.

Nygozy smirked at Kraven, "Just remember, Darkweaver, that the same goes for myself. We work together as equals or not at all and you do not command any of my people without either the word of myself or one of my two firsts, Calliara and Drake."

A brow rose, "What of the half elves and dwarves?" She quested to see where his priorities lay with other races, "Or undisclosed races?" She smirked knowing he likely had no idea as of yet to what Drake truly was.

It hardly surprised Nygozy that Kraven could sense Kai but she only smiled at the statement, "Kai is welcome to have supper with us if he will. My bodyguard chooses as he wishes though. He is not under my command so much as I am under his willful watch. Please do not attempt to command him either. He has a temper about that sort of thing and will not leave my side for anyone's word." She seemed proud that he was so dedicated to his role and the tenderness towards the man was hard not to show.

She watched Lobo with some amusement but also felt a strange interest in the little man. It wasn't so much pity but almost a sense of protectiveness, kind of as if he were a cub to her that needed care but allowed to romp and play. It surprised her that the little man gave her that feeling even though he definitely was tainted.

When Kassina came back Nygozy only watched her bring the deer then go lay down with Dartmoor with her and Kaine helping with a blanket. She glanced to Guremi who had also decided to lie down with her head upon a pillow she'd had within her pack.

"Yes, you will come with us, Dartmoor, just as I promised. None of my people, warden or non-warden will be left here. We all need to go."

Nygozy turned back towards Kraven and walked to his side, "The mold to your life is yours to break." She commented as she watched the sun with him then looked to the side at him, "What molds are you breaking?"

Kai watched the goings on of the camp in silence. He was glad to see his cousin was none the worse for wear after her antics the night before.

So he couldn't hide from this strange man. That was a very good thing to know. He was hungry and could protect Nyzozy better if he were closer and so he slowly descended from his hiding place. Or at least that's why he tried to tell himself was his reasoning. He still couldn't quite admit to himself that he really just wanted to be closer to her for closeness sake. But no matter what his feelings were her safety had to come first.

He was glad they would be leaving Denerim. There were too many people and too many places for them to hide. And there were too many politically motivated people around. It would be much easier to protect the hero away from this place. Darkspawn and bandits were much easier threats to assess and approach than snobby human nobles.

Kai seemed to simple materialize out of the gathering night to stand at Nygozy's shoulder as she stood and watched the sunset with the stranger.

"Do not worry Nygozy, as long as we are on the same path, I will not interfere with your command."

"Half-Elves are still elves, and I am willing to ignore their tainted side. I have nothing against the people of the stone, The elven race has always had good trade relations with your people."

"And as for....undisclosed races.....Don't worry, I will not harm Drake. He has nothing to fear unless he attacks me."


Nygozy turned back towards Kraven and walked to his side, "The mold to your life is yours to break." She commented as she watched the sun with him then looked to the side at him, "What molds are you breaking?"


Kraven looked down at the dwarf, and thought for a moment, "My only goal is to protect my people. That is my life. That is my mold. My destiny follows a single path, and no one, not even me, has the power to change that. Once it has been fulfilled, then I will be free of the chains that bind me."

"And when the time is right, after we have defeated whatever again threatens these lands, I will come to you one last time. And then, and only then will you know who I am, what I am, and what I really want." His voice was hard as stone, and his eyes flared up with energy as he spoke. The air tingled with electricity, and the hairs on every ones arms stood up. As soon as it had come, it was gone, only leaving behind a slight scent of ozone.

This Kraven seemed to be tormented by much within his soul and was definitely on some form of quest which did not involve the tear in the fade. As he spoke upon his mold she realized what he wanted in this life and that he was going to have a difficult time to obtain it.

"You do not wish to break the mold in which your persona has been poured. You wish to complete what you have begun." Nygozy spoke as she would her friends in the tone which was neither dominant or subservient but one of an equal, "The Elvhen are a strong race capable of so much yet they have been squashed for so long. It is difficult finding anyone with enough stamina or spirit who will be their saviors."

Nygozy touched Kai's arm as Kraven made the comment that only when he came back once more that she would know what he wished. She looked to Kai for a moment, wondering what he would do when this happened then turned her head to look directly at Kraven, "I can read your words just as well as you say them, Darkweaver. You say you wish to protect your people and the words after such shows a deliverance from your bindings once your path has been obtained. It fits easily that you wish to save your people from their oppressors. Reasoning is one of my pathways and I can see that what you wish will be a rough road yet you are not one to falter or lose faith."

The dwarf did not sound like she was against what he wished to do and she also did not sound like she knew what to do when that happened. Nygozy was not torn upon this particular issue, just as she was not torn upon the growing avarice between mage and Templar. It was only that the wardens were not supposed to interfere in anything but removal of Darkspawn. Yet she had done much more than that in her fight for Fereldan freedom from the Blight.

Kraven looked over at Kai and said in a soothing voice, "You need not worry from me young one, I would no sooner harm her, than I would harm one of my own."

"Freedom, not for myself, but for my people. They have been slaves to mans racism for far to long. We were once a proud and noble race. And along came man, and with it the blight. And with blade and shield they took our land from us. Land that had been ours since before man even was a glimmer in their gods eye."

"We are now scattered tribes, trying to hold onto knowledge that most do not understand."

He looked at the ground, and sighed, "All I want to do is teach them what has been lost. Show them all that they are missing."

He looked over at Ny, and whispered, "I hold the key to return them to their immortality." he said this as he tapped his heart.

Nygozy wondered about Kraven's words regarding not harming her, "That is generous of you to hold me with the same intent as to your own people. I have to admit that I did not expect that and was also almost sure that you would resent this combination as you certainly took ill to Drake with Calliara."

"The Elvhen deserve their freedom. I understand the history as it was told to me and then I read even more. The unlimited amount of pain that the Tevinter people caused and the backlashes that has destroyed many in their time and the future is staggering." Nygozy growled but not at Kraven. It was the past and the current which made her frustrated and mad, "The terrors of what each race does to each other as well as what some do to their own is profound and started from those roots. Then the religious zealots who continued by taking apart what was given to the Elvhen."

She closed her eyes and shook her head, "There are too many innocents with all hurt by these actions and inactions that it is difficult to sort it all out. I wish I could but I cannot and as a warden I am forbidden to become directly involved." That didn't seem to go down easy with her.

"Drake is something else, neither human nor elf. And I did not say that it did not pain me to see the two of you together. But he has chosen who he wishes to be with. You are a noble woman, a paragon of Durgen’len(people of the stone), the slayer of an arch demon' he could not have chosen better."

"You will not have to interfere, and I would not ask you too. The suffering of my people is up to me to deal with, however, like I said, once this new threat is dealt with, I will come to you and ask just one more thing."

"I am the Hahren (Elder/Keeper) of all Elvhen, and I intend to protect them all, even from themselves. If freedom for my people can be met with peace, then that is how it will be done. If not, then I warn you, I will free my people by force."

He looked at Ny with a grim look on his face, "So much death, so many lives lost. I truly wish for no more bloodshed. I have seen far too much that anyone needs to see."

"Nygozy, I had a dream not too long ago, just after I sensed the weakening fade. It made me sweat, and tremble, and cry in fear for my people. I saw a lone elf with so much anger, so much hatred towards Shemlen, that he took it upon himself to go about destroying chantries."

"The thing that scared me the most, was this elf was not me. And I fear that if this elf exists, that the chantries of Ferelden are at risk. Has there been any disturbances such as these as of late? If not, then I can rest easy knowing it was just a nightmare. However, sometimes my dreams come to past, it is part of my curse being connected to the fade like I am."

Nygozy nodded, "Yes, Drake is 'something else'. I am sorry that my relationship with Kai pains you but I can no more stop my feelings for one race or another. It is good that you accept it though." Her look clearly indicated that she would not change her feelings for anyone but she was truly sorry he could feel pain from it.

There were things in this world that she wanted to change, to fix and make better but even though becoming a warden had and was helping a lot to those ends, she also found it to be a hindrance in some other matters. She was walking a tightrope and knew that she was being monitored by other factions within the wardens to make sure she did not step out of bounds.

"I 'interfere' in my own manner; however, I have at least one spy within my group which makes it not as easy to conceal my personal interests. You will likely be saddened to hear that the one I know of is an Elvhen, Dalish to be exact." She sighed resignedly.

The concept of force being used made her saddened as she did not wish for that to come to pass, yet it was likely inevitable. Many people were set in their ways of ownership instead of equality. It hurt her inside to see anyone treated that way and made her wish to run away even more so.

"Shade." She said quietly and shook her head, "Yes, your dream is correct. There is a young mage ... ha listen to me. He is not that much younger than myself. Either way, this mage has power and fair control but he has anger issues towards humans and the chantry. We heard of his deeds in other places and I went to stop him. I was lucky and was able to change his course but until now was unable to see where I was leading him."

For a moment she rubbed her forehead then sighed, "I used my standing of a warden to be able to initiate him into the order clearly knowing I would not put him through the joining but try to find him a different direction. Now that we have met I see why I have done that. He could be warden material but that is not where his heart lies." She looked directly at Kraven, "His heart lies with your mission and I hope you do not mind me saving him for you."

Looked at Nygozy as she mentioned an Elven spy amongst her people, one of his own.

"If you know who this spy is, then why not flush them out?" Kraven looked at her knowingly, "Ah, I see, you wish to gather as much information as you can before you decide that this spy is no longer a use to you."

"I am saddened that it is one of my own people. They were never like this before, spying, and scheming. We were artists, and scholars. We searched for knowledge, and ways to perfect our own existence. We were warriors yes, but never ones to sulk in the shadows." Kraven shook his head and removed the hood of his cloak. His thick black hair fell around his shoulders and down his back. Streaks of white could be seen through out the mess of hair. He ran his fingers through it, brushing the hair behind his ears, ears that were at least twice the length of any elf that anyone has ever seen.

He looked at the small dwarf, looking directly into her eyes, "One who is full of anger and hatred, one who would strike at those even if they are innocent of any crimes; this person doesn't not truly have control over anything, including his powers."

"One as young as he is must not be controlled by the power he wields, it will destroy his soul, and allow demons of many forms to take him from us. And with someone with such power, many demons will fight for him, including ones that we have yet to see enter this plane."

He shook his head, running his gloved hand down it, "Yes, bring him to me. He must learn real control. He must learn that this is not the way to free our people. This can only lead to the genocide of them."

His eyes pleaded with the warden commander, " Please, bring him to me as soon as you are able."
