A figure moved through the forest like a wraith, a ruffle of a leaf, the swish of weeds on the ground. A pair of hazel eyes stared out at a little group who strode on towards Vigil's Keep. Nimble fingers slid over a bow string as a arrow knocked to that bow. His eyes were on the little Dwarf as he drew back his bow and took aim. From this distance of only three hundred yards his arrow could take her and the person beside her in one blow. But that was never his way, he wanted to tudy them and find out why this woman was such a large target to his fellows. His arrow went back to his quiver and the bow back around his body for quick grasp and draw.

The Ranger flitted in and out of the shadows moving with the bough, vanishing into shadow and becoming one with the nature around him thanks to a special full body cloak that had a long hood to hide the persons face in darkness and perfectly camflouged a person no matter where they stood. His eyes moved with them and he took every advantage to get close and listen to them speak while staying distant enough not to be heard or seen himself. The entire time his body moved with nature his eyes never left the commander.

((This hunt starts at Vigil for Vigil's Keep and will continue through the days from then on.))

It was eerie going towards the keep with the landscape changed probably by the darkspawn themselves, but there were dangers hiding in the undercover of the foliage still. A whisper of cloth upon metal told her that Griffinhart was close to her side then the feel of Kai helped to steady her nerves just a touch.

She stopped for a moment as they moved towards the outer walls and looked about. Something was not right. There was something out of the ordinary that she could not quite see or hear but she knew it was wrong. Her eyes scanned the landscape but nothing showed.

Then fighting started and she moved into it at her normal speed for such things. Already there was a wicked grin on her face, ready for action as her heart thump, thump thumped with the adrenaline pouring through her system. Now there was no time to think of how the darkspawn was not felt or what was unnerving her.

Now was time to kill.

Fletch watched the fight with a slight smirk, the woman was obvious a force to reckon with and he began to doubt that a single arrow would kill this stocky dwarf. Her allies were just as deadly and moved as one slaying and killing while keeping a ring around the Commander. He watched the fighting whileholding a notched arrow, during the fray he could put a arrow in one of them....ne arrow would spell the death for one of those wardens but on the negative his arrow would mark a outsider here since his arrows didn't resemble anything like a darkspawn arrow.

The fighting was bloody and the whole time, Fletch stood on a thick branch leaning n the trunk and blending in perfectly so he seemed like a part of the trunk. His hazel eyes hidden by the long forward hood stared at the warriors while the Darkspawn attacked. The day was hot and the sun burned in the sky as the fight for the Keep waged on, Fletch wondered if the Darkspawn would finish his job for him or if the Wardens would indeed win against the overwhelming odds of the Darkspawn.

Kai sighed and drew his daggers as Nygozy rushed headlong into another fight. The protective part of him really wished she would stop doing that. Especially now in her... condition. But it was also part of the reason he loved the little dwarf. Nothing was going to stand in her way. Ever.

Daggers in hand Kai rushed into the horde of darkspawn beside the warden commander. There was little shadow to use on this hot and sunny day, but the assassin did what he could. He whirled and spun, daggers dancing, wrapping what little shadow there was around himself. The elf seemed to appear and dissapear in a deadly dance amoung the enemy. He tried to keep himself between the enemy and the little dwarf, but she was in a dance of her own and it wasn't always possible.

"Just another walk in the woods eh?" He said with a grin as the movement of battle brought him momentarily side by side with Nygozy.

As a few leaves rustled in the wind, a figure moved silently and swiftly through the tree branches. Stopping to hide when the rustling began to die off, with her camo cloak on, Akane stopped at a tree branch and was able to blend in with her back against the tree branch's trunk. One of her hands was on a small pouch that contained a few poison daggers and three toxic powders in case she needed them. The powders consisted of a few herbs that Akane was able to get her hands on. A type of Nightshade she had gotten her hands on was Belladonna, and making into a powder seemed easy for her. It was one of the few types of Nightshade she had gotten. Though her assignment was to spy and get as much information of Vigil's keep as possible, she also wasn't going to let the change at getting wolfbane slip away.

Wondering how big Vigil's keep was and how long it would take to get the information did cross Akane's mind as the usual pay. Hearing movements up ahead Akane froze and waited for any signs of life as she was blending in with the tree. With her camo cloak, which was a little big on her covered her whole face. Her training made up for it when she could use her ears instead of her eyes.

"Hunting in the Wardens' Home" Empty Re: "Hunting in the Wardens' Home"

Post  Desire Sun Jun 03, 2012 1:55 am

There was noise a head. Many bodies. Many souls. The flesh did not concern this demon, it was the mind and the soul she desired. And this desire twisted the poor elf girl's body while under the control of the demon. It was perhaps a sickening thing, to fall prey to her own desires. But one must not dwell so much on the past, just because one did not dwell, did not mean they couldn't learn.

It had seemed to be months trailing the Wardens she had come across in the forest. Not that time mattered much to beings of the fade. And the little Dalish mage intrigued her, such anger, but no instability with it. And these wardens had the same feeling, they were connected. Their fates intertwined, mingled, and tangled together. The beautiful auras of mana and energies danced around them. The lith and taller of the two was an Elf, the same blood flowed through his veins that did Sly's, her beloved possessed little elf. The small one, the one this world refers to as a Dwarf. One cut off from the fade, her energies were much duller than humans' and elves', but what sat inside her belly.

The baby, if you could even call it that, was ripe for the taking of any demon. It's soulless aura was so inviting. The emptiness called out to be invaded, taken. It was an empty vessel that could sustain a Fade Being. Desire could use that body, this one had twisted, decayed. But if she could invade the body, the babe, she could survive in this world for much longer than she could in this mage's body. The babe was corrupt already, the taint flowed through mother and child. Making the babe all the more inviting.

Darkened eyes scanned the area, other than the Elf and the Dwarf. There were others moving close by. The shadows hid them well, but they could not hide from the eyes of the Demon. She did not want a confrontation as of right now though. And these people seemed to be against one another, they would be on their toes and would not be taken by surprise more than once today. And she knew her chances were slim against more than two people. The babe was a worthy prize though.

(Don't know who the new person is.)

Fletch dropped down from the tree he had been hiding in and slipped in a wide arc around the battle his footsteps were silent as a moons shadow, coming to a large oak he climbed it silentely and quickly. The Elf crouched like a panther on the Bough. His eyes moved around the clearing as he listened not for noises but for the disturbances in natural nature. Fletch could feel he wasn't alone in the woods besidesz the wardes another presence was here and it too moved like the shadow. However he smirked knowing he could run circles around the person moving through the forest. Fletch leaped from one tree to another using the foliage to hide his presence. Bow drawn with a arrow he stopped so he could look down and smiled. He was standing behind the Spy woman, his bow drawn back and a arrow knocked.

His cold eyes watched the woman for a mment before speaking but even then it was a cold whisper. "Stay looking forward if you try to turn I will put a arrow in your skull. Is there a reason why the Guild would send another Bird to my mission?" As her spoke he felt a presence in the frest, something that nature screamed at. A twisted evil not like him who was only doing a job, but something of true evil.

Post  Kai Fri Jun 08, 2012 3:05 pm

Kai paused as there was a momentary lull in the fighting. He was breathing heavily, but not gasping for air. He was in excellent physical shape, but hand to hand combat was extremely hard work. As he let his focus widen beyond the fight at hand he stopped and stiffened, barely breathing. Something wasn't right. The elf couldn't put his figure on it, it was just a whisper in the back of his mind, but something was out in the woods other than just darkspawn.

Before Kai could locate or identify the source of his unease another wave of darkspawn approached and he had to throw himself back into the fray. He tried to keep a measure of his focus on the woods, but most of his attention had to stay on the fight. He had gotten a little way seperated from Nygozy and had to fight his way back to her to warn her.

Post  Nygozy Thu Jun 14, 2012 5:13 pm

The fighting went on and even though an emissary had been able to damage Nygozy's leg they were still able to get rid of most of their opposition. Nygozy fought swiftly and decisively but was too intent upon what was going on in the fighting to notice much of what was going on within the woods.

But if current situations have not let up she would never has noticed something else was wrong. She made an announcement to her team telling them what she wanted them to do. For a moment she was caught off guard wondering what the tiny birds were trying to tell her as they did not seem to be consistent.

Nygozy took a quick look to her mate started off onto the road that she had to deal with. If it was not for all of the darkspawn she would have checked out area a bit more but she was not about to let these creatures take over the keep and destroy more lives. So it was into the building's that she went keeping her team together enough that they were able to fight a swath through the monstrosities.

"Hunting in the Wardens' Home" Empty Re: "Hunting in the Wardens' Home"

Post  Akari Sun Jun 17, 2012 11:02 pm

Waiting for the next shadow or rustle of the leaves Akane listened for any signs of movement. She found none as she waited patiently, knowing she would soon get all the information she needed and complete her task. Smiling lightly Akane wondered if she would be rewarded with a good job or a new task to do. The possibilities for a girl like her were endless when all she needed to do was Intel work for now.

Akane's head snapped up when she heard slight movement like an arrow being moved but by them it was too late. The arrow was pointed at her, and even though she couldn't exactly see where it was she could feel it in the atmosphere. She didn't move nor did she turn to see who the arrow belonged as she heard the owner's voice who was a man. Feeling sick for an unknown reason, Akane heard the man speak and nearly scoffed for giving her orders. Yet when he said what she was Akane smirked and nearly giggled, 'so he doesn't know why I am here? MM.. I think I can have fun.' she thought as she heard the cold tone in his words. She felt something in the far distance walking in the forest but ignored it as she replied to this man's question. "MY mission is none of your concern, if you have a problem with the guild sending me I suggest you go and talk to them. If that is all you wish to ask back off and let me finish my assignment." Akane spoke as she waited for this man to leave and let her do her job. Why the guild had sent him as well as her she wasn't too sure but right now to her that didn't matter, what mattered was completing her assignment.

"Hunting in the Wardens' Home" Empty Re: "Hunting in the Wardens' Home"

Post  Elenri Sun Jun 24, 2012 11:43 am

Fletch vanished into the stillness of the forest a smirk on his face, he moved like a panther graceful and silent. And while he knew the woman was a interest for now he had a goal and if the Guild needed another bird here...well he wuld deal with it later. She wasn't armed like he was so she was something else...not a assassin though she had the capability, no she was too gentle for that. Information gatherer most likely since there wouldn't be a point in sending two killers to the same house and especially one who couldn't move or hide like himself. His focus returned to his two targets and before long he was following them once again. The low ground proved no problem for the lithe elf who moved like the serpents shadow into the building.

Fletch stayed low and close to the walls and even on the dust filled ground he made no noise and left no prints to follow He came to a beam and leaping from one wall to another he got to the top beam and perched there. His eyes watched the fighting down below with a twisted interest, he was both eager for the kill and yet he found his curiosity rolling in his mind as to how the battle would play out. If the Darkspawn killed his targets it meant less of a problem fighting them and saved some arrows. But if they won...then what was next? No, he wouldn't take the shot now though he had a feeling that he wouldn't get a better chance then now while they were in battle. A arrow from the dark right between the shoulderblades...not yet.

Desire watched with interest. These people were turning on each other. They noticed her presence. They couldn't know exactly where she was though, her magic was great and it was added to Sly's own magic, still stored in her elven body. Merely a shadow among the shadowy woods.

This body was dying around her though, cailsifying and making it harder to move. What had it been? Three days? Three Years? Three decades? The demons of the Fade were not good time keepers. So many places to be, but all the time in the world. However this body did not allow for such recklessness. Time was no long on her side. It was thrilling. Finally something to live for. Living to live.

The baby. That was what she desired. Sly once wished for a child, the memories were locked deep away with the dormant host. The elf had wanted normality, she hated her gifts. She wished for a way to take away all the pain, take away her magic. All she wanted was a husband and a child, she would have even taken a simple house in the Alienage. It was an annoyance, listening to all the girl's dreams. The mage was locked away tight, but she was loudly wishing.

It was also an annoyance that those she was stalking sensed her. She did not wish to be seen, heard, felt, and so she masked her very being. She could not mask the distain of the world around her though. It hated her, it yelled at her, it kicked and screamed for her to return to the Fade. This world was beautiful though, and she wanted every part of it to be her's.

"Hunting in the Wardens' Home" Empty Re: "Hunting in the Wardens' Home"

Post  Nygozy Fri Aug 10, 2012 10:01 pm

People were fleeing and Nygozy took care of the dishevelled confusion as easily as she possibly could, leaving two behind as crowd control and to herd the innocents out of the frays. She then moved quickly, made her orders and moved into the keep while watching what was going on.

It took time to do what they had to and they also needed to make sure to be careful as well. It would be too easy to be ambushed or have traps triggered. Her teammates made as little work out of the horde as possible and she found herself being impressed by the performance of her wardens but kept pushed her mind back to the work at hand.

"Hunting in the Wardens' Home" Empty Re: "Hunting in the Wardens' Home"

Post  Akari Mon Sep 17, 2012 5:57 pm

Akane sighed in relief and slight annoyance as to why this man had found her but she knew he wasn't human. A mere human or one specifically trained wouldn't have that capability the man was more likely an elf. That was clearly evident in her mind, the voice of the man still rung in her ears but it only brought annoyance to her. "scent.." she mumbled quietly as she backed up on the trees trunk closing her eyes and feeling he wind. The wind began to pick up a few leaves and that was her cue to quickly move as quickly and quietly as she could as she was able to jump from one tree to the next making a great gap from where she had encountered that elf. Akane though had ignored everything but her assignment she was going to complete. As the wind began to die out she was able to make it to a tree branch and blend in to her surroundings. From where she was Akane could see the battle field and what was beginning to unfold. She would have to remember all of this to report back, and she wasn't going to shy away any details.

Akane hoped that the being she had sensed when the elf had caught her wouldn't interfere with her assignment. Looking straight ahead and making the minimum amount of movement as she waited for the shadows to cover her or the leaves to once again be picked up by the wind to get even closer to her destination to get to her goal Vigil's keep. It seemed that a few more trees and she would easily reach Vigil's keep but she had to be careful, she couldn't afford to get caught knowing she would have to kill and that for her was unnecessary in this type of intel assignment. Not that she minded killing if someone got in the way.

For now Akane watched what was in front of her as her back was to the trees trunk, her feet on the sturdy tree branch, and her cloak covering everything but her eyes at this point. She had to see what was going on but had to make the minimum movements now that she was close to her true destination.
