Apologizes and some wine

Calliara laughed, placing the empty bottle next to her clothes and getting her smoking pipe, then she moved back where she had been.

''I'd better stop drinking, or else tomorrow I'll be sick the whole day. I'm feeling funny right now, but I know that soon that will change... ''

She lit the pipe and sighed, tasting the sweet herbs, but after some minutes she giggled again

''Two dwarves and an elf, naked and drunk in a pond...''

Garoll laughed with the others, boisterously too. He was enjoying their drunken naked bath together, even though he could start feeling his loins wake and grunted. "Sodding Stone, behave down there!" he shouted down at his length. Placing his hands on his hips, he stood up and then stretched. Once again too drunk to care he was stark naked as well as aroused. "Sod it, Wolf girl. You know its a good morning when you wake up with a pounding head. There's a good cure for that: more ale!" He chortled and then sat back down again, having stretched and relaxed his muscles more.

"Sodding Stone, behave down there! Sod it, Wolf girl. You know its a good morning when you wake up with a pounding head. There's a good cure for that: more ale!"

Nygozy slugged back the rest of her wine then grabbed the bottle that Calliara had just set to the side and burped, loudly, very loudly, then laughed, "Well I ain't intending on getting up early tomorrow and if anyone tries to wake me there better damn right be someone dead or dying or there would be. Plus I don't get hangovers." She slugged back some more, "And ... yes, Mr. Dwarf Man, you might want to not point that at anyone here. I'm betting there are two men hiding around here someat about ready to cut it off if you did."

She laughed even harder at the thought of Drake and Kai being hidden, watching to make sure nothing happened to them and being mad at the male dwarf for showing off his items to their women.

Calliara snorted.

''He is not there, hiding and watching for me. Either he is giving me time that I don't want or he just doesn't care. Whatever''

Smoking from her pipe, she snorted for herself again. ''Creators above, Garoll, hide that already. You're disturbing the fishies...''

''Creators above, Garoll, hide that already. You're disturbing the fishies...'' Calliara admonished after the warning Nygozy made about their being watched. Garoll shrugged.

"So that's what has been rubbing against my foot?" he barked a laugh. Then he took another swig from his flask. "Everything's sodding wonderful tonight. Lookit them lights in that sky. Shiny." He started to mumble to himself.

"Either that or he's off to swat Leliana upside the head. I wouldn't blame him if he did." She sniggered then rolled her eyes at Garoll, "Well what now? I can't be the only one here scaring the birds away with song. Someone else needs to come up with something perfectly silly and or raunchy. By warden commander's command ... sing me a sassy tune!"

Nygozy waved her bottle in the air in salute to sassy songs.

''Right away, Commander!'' Calliara laughed, but it wasn't that easy. Which song? Which song? Had she been sober , she would have never dared to act that way. Well, she didn't mind to be naked certainly, but drunk? Drunk? That was new. She couldn't even remember the last time she got drunk

Finally, she barely remembered a song, and giggled.

Kai couldn't believe he'd fallen asleep in the bath. As he got out and dried off he realized he had been asleep for almost two hours. He dressed quickly and headed to Nygozy's room to check on her. He was suprised when he reached her room and found it empty save for a pile of empty wine bottles. Where could that little woman have gone off to at this hour with that much wine in her system?

Kai quickly melded with the shadows and began following the smell of wine. The smell lead him towards the gardens and he soon picked up the sounds of splashing and singing. He spotted Torture under the trees near the garden pool and knew Nygozy must be close. The singing must be coming from Calliara, but he also picked up a third small silhouette in the pool. Must be a dwarf by the size, Garoll perhaps?

Silently he moved closer for a better view and quickly determined that all three were stark naked and by the smell very drunk. The presence of the naked male dwarf infuriated him and he growled as he pulled a dagger and pointed it at Garoll. "Just what do you think you're doing with the hero and my cousin? I should gut you right here. And what do you two think you're doing? Trying to get yourselves killed?"

Still keeping his eye trained on Garoll he grabbed Calliara's clothes and pushed them her way. "Torture, please escort my intoxicated cousin to her rooms and make sure she stays there." He knew the mabari was capable and he would deal with her in the morning.

"As for you my little hero, I believe it's past your bedtime." He said only slightly more tenderly as he removed his cloak. He lifted her gently from the pool and wrapped her tightly in the cloak and picked her up.

Garoll was enjoying the singing and banter between himself and the women but then he heard a faint rustling that was getting closer. Right away he grabbed for his sword, but found a dagger at his neck, wielded by the one eyed boy bodyguard of the Commander. "Just what do you think you're doing with the hero and my cousin? I should gut you right here. And what do you two think you're doing? Trying to get yourselves killed?" Kai growled and Garoll already had his own weapon pointing to the boy's chin. "What does it look like we're doing? We're taking a dip and singing drinking songs. I advise you to lose that uppity attitude, kid before you lose your head." The dwarf warned.

The elf then went on about grilling Calliara and Nygozy. This made Garoll bristle a little. Who did he think he was? "I think you have no business in what they do in their free time, boy. Get that stick out of your ass and loosen up a bit. They were having a good time." The dwarf said, standing up, not even caring about his nudity at this point. He was trying to get a point across. He kept his weapon leveled at Kai while water dropped off the elder dwarf's battle scarred body.

Nygozy chuckled at the song and clapped her hands and giggled when it was all done, slugged back some wine and closed her eyes. Next thing she knew she heard Kai and winked at Calliara having known he would react negatively to their little party.

"Just what do you think you're doing with the hero and my cousin? I should gut you right here. And what do you two think you're doing? Trying to get yourselves killed?"

She considered answering but before she could the other dwarf became upset and threatened Kai with his weapon.

"What does it look like we're doing? We're taking a dip and singing drinking songs. I advise you to lose that uppity attitude, kid before you lose your head."

"Torture, please escort my intoxicated cousin to her rooms and make sure she stays there. As for you my little hero, I believe it's past your bedtime."

It was surprising how Kai was even telling his cousin what to do but not too surprising but when he lifted her out of the pool and took her into his arms in the cloak she sighed contentedly until Garoll continued on.

"I think you have no business in what they do in their free time, boy. Get that stick out of your ass and loosen up a bit. They were having a good time."

Nygozy slapped Garoll's weapon away, not even noticing or caring that her hand was cut in the process, "Leave my man be." She chuckled drunkenly, "He's quite welcome to take me to bed."

Kai just glared at the dwarf threatening him and continued what he was doing. The hero's safety and wellbeing were his primary concern, and naked, wet, and drunk at 3am in a public garden was NOT good for her safety. What was she even thinking? Who knew who could be waiting to ambush her?

Kai growled when Nygozy cut herself on Garoll's sword and had to again resist the temptation to gut the man. What was he thinking waving a sword around when everyone was drunk? Luckily the cut was shallow. If Kai had to go wake Jez there would have been hell to pay. Then the little hero's words sunk in "Leave my man be." Her man? The words gave him a warm feeling inside.

He carried the little drunk dwarf to her room and laid her down gently on the couch while he grabbed a towel and some first aid supplies. He took her hand and looked at the cut and shook his head. "What were you two thinking?" He asked as he set to work on the cut. "Someone could have killed you out there!" He finished off his ministrations with a kiss on the palm of her small hand.

Calliara giggle but nodded when Kai addressed her. She felt proud, her cousin was a grown, caring man.

"Torture, please escort my intoxicated cousin to her rooms and make sure she stays there''

''Hey, hey, you, you, I'm old enough to be your mother... sister... mother... Well, not really. Alright alright, I'll go'' The Dalish sighed, dressing up again, not minding at all that her clothes got soaked just in a second. She growled jokingly to Torture, and then smiled wide at the others, specially at Nygozy.

''Aaaawww, Commander, you're lucky. Your man had come to rescue you. Mine is missing, and then the very drunk Songbird has to go all alone to her bedroom. What a pity. Good night everyone!'' Calliara giggled, waving a hand, and then almost fell, too drunk to even walk properly. ''Alright, Torture, my handsome guard, take me to my bedroom... I promise I'll behave... for a while''

Garoll grunted. "They weren't unprotected. They had me here. I always keep my weapon within arm's reach." He growled at Kai. He felt insulted that his abilities as a warrior were questioned by this one eyed brat. Then Nygozy swatted his weapon aside, cutting her hand a bit in the process and then she uttered the most curious line that Kai was her man. This brought an amused smile to the elder dwarf's face. "Ah ha. So that's your little secret. I imagine the king won't be pleased if he finds out." He chortled, shaking his head as he pulled on his armor. "Tread lightly though, lass. Triangles don't roll well."

Nygozy caught parts of what was being said, her mind fogged by the drink now but she did catch a bit.

''Aaaawww, Commander, you're lucky. Your man had come to rescue you. Mine is missing, and then the very drunk Songbird has to go all alone to her bedroom. What a pity. Good night everyone!''

"You has Torture!" She called to Calliara and giggled as said dog took up a place beside Calliara, helping her to walk along, "Drake's prolly fighting with something or someone if he ain't here. Or he could be sulking."

"They weren't unprotected. They had me here. I always keep my weapon within arm's reach."

"Acshully he's right. We had Garoll and Torture there." She sighed.

"Ah ha. So that's your little secret. I imagine the king won't be pleased if he finds out. Tread lightly though, lass. Triangles don't roll well."

Nygozy closed her eyes and bit her lower lip at this statement as she knew it was true. It was none of Alistair's business but at the same time it was with him having proposed to her in his strange manner and the fact that she still loved him as well as Kai.

Kai was so gentle as he got her to their rooms and set her on the couch to take care of her hand. She watched him sadly as he kissed the palm

"What were you two thinking? Someone could have killed you out there!"

There was not much to be said in the positives to that so she didn't even try as she looked away from him so he couldn't see the ache in her eyes, "We weren't thinking. We got drunk and got silly." She admitted.

Kai could tell that Nygozy was upset. Perhaps he had been too harsh on her. He was the one that had fallen asleep and not been there to protect her. Was he really more upset with himself and just displacing his anger onto her and the Wolf? Or was she upset by Garoll's words? Kai wasn't used to thinking about emotions and he was sort of at a loss.

"I'm sorry," he said as he continued to hold her hand, "I should have been there. Now you need to sleep off this wine little hero." He gave her hand one more kiss and then grabbed a towel and gently dried her off before picking her up and placing her carefully into bed. Once she was settled he made sure his weapons were in easy reach and then crawled slowly into bed beside her. With a sigh he wrapped his arms protectively around her and hid his face in her neck and still damp hair. "Sleep well little hero." he said softly into her neck.

"Kai, you can't always be by my side. It's not your fault. It is what it is." She said with a yawn as he dried her off then took her to bed.

Her body relaxed immediately as he made sure she was comfortable. The feel of him protectively wrapping his arms around her then settling with his breath upon her neck made her feel safe and her eyes closed, "Night bodyguard." She teased as she nodded off to sleep.
