So I finally got my new laptop, and wonder of wonders I can actually play Dragon Age (before this I had to play with my brother's laptop, and this is MIIIIINE, my treasure. I miss having the time to play DAO. I never did do that Two-Weapon Fighter/Mage/ArcWar/SpiWar/Champ build that I had optimized... /sadness

I used to share the 'good' laptop with my brother (my old laptop was too old to load properly any new game like Dragon Age or Mass Effect) but now I have my new one and I can use all the mods I want =D

I wish I had the time, too. Now I'm starting with the hard work with the master and I'll have less free time, but I'll try to play a bit. And post more naughty screens for sure.

I think it's based on the Sacred Ashes trailer.

It's called a 'custom morph'. And he looks different because he is based on the Sacred Ashes trailer, because I love the way Sten looks in it, and because it's my game and I play it the way I like.

what mods are you using? I think I see the Witcher Armor and the Armor of the Sten, but I'm not too sure on what Leliana is wearing...although I think I have that armor for her. I haven't played it in a good while so I'm not sure on that.

What exactly does "Improved Atmosphere" do?

And why is the cross guard on Alistair's sword so bloody enormous?

I think it's one of the Witcher Swords. The Steel one, if I'm correct. It's pretty big in game for a one handed sword. The Silver sword is a lot more modest in size and it doesn't look like the wielder is compensating for something. I just so happened to have equipped the same sword to Alistair myself, until I retrieved Maric's sword from Ostagar.

Ser Gilmore <3 I'm using a different morph for him to make him look manlier than before. I'm also using Ser Gilmore NPC Add on which allows you to recruite him in Lothering and romance him, have an open relationship with him or be just friends. Of course I'm romancing him. Alistair is too childish sometimes (well, I'll confess, I'm playing three playthroughs at the same time, one for each romanceable man. I'm sorry, but NO WAY I'm going to pair Calliara with another woman. EVER. Leliana is for my male Brosca)

You won't recognize this scene because it's from a new mod still on development, but it's just sweet... This scene takes place just after the Harrowing, when your mage is sent to see Irving and you find Cullen in front of a room. All of your armors are fantastic. Like, really. Everything between Calli and Leliana is hilarious XD Sometimes I think I'm the only person who actually liked Leliana, but even I find her annoying at times. Yes, I get it - you like shoes. Shoes are nice, but I'm not going to fight an ogre in three-inch pumps, thanks very much.

Love the mod for Cullen. It would make the mage origin 200% better. Does it affect his reaction towards you when you see him again in the Circle when all of the Abominations are running about?

I played Leliana's song thinking that would make me actually like her but NO. I still think she is stupid. I actually loved Silas and Thug and Sketch more than her.

And yes, the Cullen romance mod adds just three scenes D: the kiss scene, you can look for a video in youtube or check the link, the videos are there, another scene when you're leaving with Duncan that he gives you a longing look, and you look at him the same way, and another one when you free the Circle, but I never got to it because if I play a Surana I want to romance him properly, so I want a Cullen NPC mod like the one that exits for Ser Gilmore (yummy yummy redhead... he reminds me of Sinjan in some way, lovely)

I shall, eventually. :3 I'd used Improved Atmosphere and Dragon Age redesigned, if it weren't for the changes to my vanilla companions. (If you didn't know, vanilla means original). I have Sacred Ashes-looking Leliana and Morrigan, though I've left the rest of my own ones alone.

She's working to get Soris and Tamlen into it. I've tried it before and it worked decently, though I don't have it on my DA now since I reinstalled it.

I know about that mod but I don't like it, if it was in parts, I mean, one mod for Cullen, one for Gorim, etc... maybe I'd think about installing Gorim and Cullen even if the recruitment of Cullen doesn't make sense (in order to romance him you MUST be a female mage AND destroy all the mages in the Circle. Nonsense for me). But no way I want Jowan near me and Sir Gilmore NPC mod is too good to let it break because of that other mod.

So I'll wait for someone to make stand alone modules or either I'll learn to mod myself, but I wasn't even able to install the toolset...

With DARedesigned you don't have to change your companions if you don't want to, they have different installers.

Edited to add my last screenshot. Ser Gilmore NPC mod is going to have an update, so I started a brand new game and redesigned Calli. Now I'm happy with her at last. That's not the armor that she'll end with though.

I agree with you on this, definitely. I wish it could come in parts. Ironically, I had been looking for Jowan as a companion when I found that one. I had installed it on my previous installation of DA and it worked out fine, but I wasn't too fond of the Gwaren the mod added, and the Cousland Castle. They just felt incomplete and I worried about it conflicting with something else as well. So yeah, I understand. Just didn't know if you knew about that one, and not everyone knew what vanilla meant so I was explaining it just in case. ^^;

You can't install the toolset? D: I'm guessing your computer cannot handle it? Well, if you want any custom NPC headmorphs, just let me know what you want and I'll work with it. :3 I just learned how to do that, and I'd love to help out a friend. Thank you for that list of mods you've got. I found and downloaded some of those and they work nicely on my game. I especially like the Armour of the Sten, the Phoenix Armoury (though I already knew of that one), and the Tucked Hair (been looking for that one for a long time). And the Orator's Vestments I'd seen on characters on the Bioware site; it's the first time I've seen them now. They're awesome.

I may try DA Redesigned and Improved Atmosphere during my next playthrough. I hope that you can install the toolset someday; there's so much you can do with it. x3. Including editing Calliara's appearance without having to start a new game. The hair you use for her is my all-time favourite female hair. <3
