WHO CAN STILL PLAY?

This is a full out request to find out whom is still in this game and how often you believe you can play.

We had some good story lines to play with and I'd like to continue on with them but I cannot set up good teams without knowing if you will be playing and how often.

If you cannot play then please do not answer that you can.

New rule: If you are in a thread which indicates that the game is being played with those posting once a week then if a person does not post within a week then the next person in line can do so and so on depending on how long the period is that anyone can play.

If this forum is dying out then I will put my attention into my others instead.

Availability: I have a tab permanently open to DAAE, so I basically check once daily, if not more often. Posting-wise, I could probably do daily right now, but once classes kick into crunch (especially considering that I'm also working as a TA and a grader for this semester), expect me to drop to a weekly check/post rate, if not even less.

I'll do my best to post at least once a week. Things have not been good for me lately, and I hope things will start clearing up, if not soon, then eventually, but I love it here too much to not stick around, and to do my best to keep things as alive as possible. This will be one of my priorities, not just a side-interest.

Any thread you would like to continue: I've only just returned, so the only thread that I'm actually in right now is "Full Formal Meeting"

I can definitely post a couple times every two week, and can probably post once weekly pretty regularly, too. I know I only just came back, but I love DA:AE and the people here, so I'm enthusiastic to stay on. It's been slow since i returned, so I haven't had that much of a chance to reintegrate myself, but I think this group kind of thrives on 'slow and steady.' A lot of RPs, I know, start out on steroids, going incredibly fast, and no one gets to know each other and after a very short time, they peter out. But I think this group has managed to beat that and now, while it might be on the slower side, is a darn reliable site.

I would like to be able to post every day, but I'm waiting on people to post. I check the forums every day almost constantly, so you know I'm always here.

You all know who I am and what characters I have. I plan to continue in all my threads, and post from daily to twice a week, or at least once. Right now I have a lot of crap going on, but I'll get to it when I'm able.

Yes, I know I have 3 so I'll do my best but I am working on other things as well. I will do my best to post every day, if not more, if others start posting.

One on One threads will get awkward if this is the rule. Just keep posting to yourself. xD It'll end up being a story.

Good point. It's just you and Torture left in that thread, Final. I have to do some reworking to get it going again. I'll try to reboot my brain to get it going.

Well I thought about starting a new thread, but I realized this one was still up, so I might as well keep it it all in one place.

I kind of want to ask the obvious, after all someone has to do it: so, after those rather quiet holidays, who’s ready to boot things up a bit, once again?

I know many of us have other things to do, more important matters to attend to. But besides that I’ve noticed a number of us are still logging in regularly, so there is got to be a few at least as interested as I am in seeing something happen. If anybody’s willing to, we could use this thread to count our numbers, and see if we can resume some threads; if not, maybe arrange some new ones?

I'm always here. I do check every day, and I'm always sending off a little prayer for activity (knowing full well, of course that I have some places to post in myself, which is something I should get on to doing).

Running the risk of slowing any potential activity down by asking, but do we have any thoughts on whether we should continue the threats that are currently existing, or should we consider starting some new threads to take into account potential passed time/member fluctuation?

Yeah, that’s also the point of seeing who is still in the game; there are threads that have bearly started (like Dwelling of tears) with no definite post-roll, so they can be continued with whoever wishes. In Merchant troubles, however, Dragonis, Swift and I should technically wait for Rosko if we want to keep the original posting order, or find a way to RP her out of the immediate focus.
So let’s see who answers the call , first, we'll probably have to set new things up.

Ok, so if we assume we’re all here, we are indeed going to have some trouble resuming some of the thread. And by “some of the threads”, I mean “all except Dwelling of tears”. So if we want to continue, we might want to consider creating some new ones.



For starters it might be a good idea to start a continuation of Merchant trouble, to introduce the new characters that had been created shortly before the end of the last season (I can think of Emil, Florence and Damien, if Swift’s still with us, but I might be forgetting others), and their integration within the keep. After that, we’ll probably want to keep low on the topic count, but as for ideas… any suggestions?
