Retrieving Honour

Nygozy let Jezarine go when the elven maid was done crying and got a cloth to wipe her eyes, "Don't worry. They will be away for as long as it takes to get you back to feeling better. We just don't have anywhere to put them in the new warden's compound. It still is being made. Don't worry though, both of them will be put to work as well as being trained. I'm not about to let them get off being lazy asses." She chuckled, "Dinner tomorrow. Do not forget."

Jezarine nodded at Nygozy and gave her one last hug before Kai escorted her back out.

"I am going to need you to check up on those two from time to time. Just to get a report about their progress. They will not be far away from our location but far enough that they won't be a bother." She said to Griffinhart as she turned to him, "They did well tonight but I do not fully trust that. I never will, mind you, but if they can get through the next six months or so working for the Koru family then I can see them fully as warden recruits."

The Anderfels Warden silently snapped out of his thoughts with a slow nod. Acknowledgment? Approval? It was hard to tell when the man's face was hidden - as it typically was - behind that unmoving helmet. "Trust is a weakness, Commander," he said, saluting. The periodic checks would be made, as much of a hassle as they were - he was never one for bureaucracy, but Griffinhart did not complain. He would do as told.

"It is unfortunate but for the most part, I have to agree with you, Griffinhart. Go do as you will off duty. I will call you when you are required." How could she trust when the one she trusted most in her life broke that ability?
